Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools


This $1,550,000 project involved energy efficiency audits at 50 schools and administrative buildings, totaling over 4.8 million square feet.

DeKalb County Renewable Fuels Facility


This LEED Gold certified building houses equipment that converts Landfill Gas (LFG) to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG).

Fort Irwin National Training Center


An investment grade energy audit of 174 buildings totaling more than 2,200,000 square feet.

Georgia Archives


Assessment of HVAC systems serving this four story structure to ensure they were capable of maintaining the appropriate conditions for artifact preservation while reducing energy consumption. The facility houses many of the state’s historical documents and art dating from the 1600s.

One City Place


A full building energy audit for this 35 tory tower housing commercial tenants with common spaces on the lower floors identified over $200,000 in annual savings. A RCx effort identified a 40% reduction in ventilation rates.

Swan House


In 2016, the Swan House was recognized as one of the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge’s 2015 top performers as a direct result of the RCx effort performed by Griffith Engineering. Energy was reduced by 30% due to smarter scheduling and HVAC modifications that allowed temperature and humidity levels to drift seasonally, and careful use of power by staff and security utilizing the building.

University of North Carolina at Charlotte

Griffith Engineering served as the Commissioning Authority for an Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) for an Energy Service Company (ESCO).
