Design and construction documents for the decentralization of the school’s steam system. The project included:
▪ Removal of 11 buildings from the central steam system.
▪ 8 new outdoor boilers and 3 indoor units in new boiler buildings.
▪ A dedicated outside air unit at Colman Library.
▪ Architectural screen design for outdoor boilers.
▪ $6.6 million project.
Griffith Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services, as well as architectural design services, to a design/build contractor on this project.
