DeKalb County Renewable Fuels Facility
Located at Seminole Landfill, this building houses equipment that provides the innovative process of converting Landfill Gas (LFG) to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). The RNG is piped into the natural gas pipeline for distribution to natural gas customers. Future phases of this facility will also utilize the RNG to fuel county vehicles that previously used diesel fuel.
