U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mississippi Valley Division
Multiple Locations

An investment grade energy audit of over 150 buildings located in all six of the Districts within the Mississippi Valley Division. The site are located near the Canadian border down to the Gulf of Mexico. The audit process gathered relevant information to identify and develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and associated energy savings calculations.

▪ The audit process included:

– Listing of accessible major HVAC and controls equipment.

– Identification of viable energy conservation measures.

– Performed data logging and amp readings.

– Full utility analysis.

– Development of energy savings calculations for all identified ECMs utilizing spreadsheet based weather bin analysis and energy models, as applicable to specific measures.

– Development of mechanical scope of work narratives to assist contractors in developing cost estimates for implementation of ECMs.
