Once a quarter we hold a company-wide meeting to catch up and discuss business operations but this unprecedented time called for a virtual team meeting instead. During this meeting we announced our Quarterly Most Outstanding Performer (QMOP).

Congratulations, Cha Mok! His superior work ethic on multiple challenging projects is impeccable. Cha has greatly assisted our team on multiple projects & is a highly valued member of our team!

We might all be #workingfromhome, but our communication and teamwork continues to thrive!

Stay safe, we’re all in this together!

Recycling Lunch and Learn

At Griffith Engineering, we value recycling and reducing the impact our waste has on the environment. Tara Sharpton shared with us about recycling techniques and how to reduce consumption of plastics and other common materials used in our everyday lives. Do you know that 91% of plastic isn’t recycled? That’s why it’s important to dispose of items properly, this way they can be recycled, repurposed or disposed of without harming our environment. While it’s important to recycle if you can, it’s even more important to try and reduce how much we consume as a society in general. #Griffith Engineeringgoesgreen#ownyourwaste

Last week, Griffith Engineering hosted a Lunch and Learn to learn more about the benefits of SkySpark software and energy dashboards. John Petze spoke with us about how SkySpark uses rules and algorithms to detect, identify, visualize, and report faults within systems to show the issue, time of occurrence, frequency, duration, and event cost. Tara Sharpton discussed Griffith Engineering’s energy dashboard that helps us optimize energy use for our team and our customers. Fault detection and diagnostic (FDD) software, such as SkySpark, and energy dashboards offer invaluable tools to improve overall building performance and energy conservation on an ongoing basis. Griffith Engineering celebrated another successful year on Saturday with a company-wide Christmas party. It was an evening full of fine food, good company, trivia, and holiday cheer! #tistheseason

Our team went on a Toys for Tots shopping spree. We gathered 115 toys and 5 carts and are proud to be able to create special memories for children during the holidays.  We are excited to be a part of such an amazing organization!

Griffith Engineering proudly sponsored the St. Peter Chanel November 5K benefiting Special Olympics Georgia. This race was held at Blessed Trinity High School in Roswell. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed raising money for a most worthy cause. Our team loves giving back to the community and partnering with amazing organizations!
